How important is it to you that your partner compliment you? Could you be happy with a partner who isn't very good at noticing the small things and complimenting you on them? Would you feel like you had to "fish" for compliments?

I do not like phony compliments, but if he likes something and says so that's nice. But too much of a good thing can start to make it sound cheap and meaningless. I like a happy medium.

`As long as it's sincere, I like to receive compliments. I don't think I'd be able to go without being complimented on something at least every once in awhile. It just makes me feel like they're taking notice in me ..which makes me feel even more liked/loved.

there are times i tell a women she looks beautiful,but she thinks im lying,when i REALLY mean it. i just hate it when women can't take a compliment,sorry but that's kinda annoying.some people turn EVERY compliment you give them into something bad.just take the compliment and be happy,will ya? i wouldn't say it if i didn't mean it.i guess alot of people listen to what others think of them too much,and if it's negative,they start to believe it when it may not be true in other peoples eyes.
