Hello,
I'm really curious why I can't write mini messages to people. Everytime I try to write one it says that the user doesn't accept mini messages. But that can't be true since on the same profile other people are able to write them. I hope someone can help me with this issue.

The contact management system blocks email messages, mini-messages and IM's from members outside the U.S. and Canada to members within the U.S. and Canada (...unless the member in the U.S. or Canada has updated their contact restrictions to allow contact from the country of the member attempting to contact them).
The system was set up this way due to the large number of spammers/scammers who focus on members within the U.S. and Canada.
After requests from members, we did change the email system so that email messages are delivered to the recipient (regardless of what country they are coming from).
If the message comes from a country that is not in the recipient's approved contact list, then the email message is moved into a BLOCKED folder within the email area.
Basically, if you want to contact someone, but cannot leave a mini-message, you can send them an email message.
They will not be sent an 'alert' that they have received an email, but when they login, they will see that there is a message for them in their BLOCKED folder.
If they like you, they may add the country you are in, into their approved contact list...which would allow you to mini-message and IM them also.
Hope that helps to explain what is happening.
Thanks,
.
