I thought this would be an interesting topic to start. No, I'm not superfical ( I think ya'll know that now, lol) but I do have standards. Just because Im 41 doesnt mean Im just looking for a guy with a pulse. LOL These are the qualities I find attractive in a man..

1. He is a family man, takes good care of his child(ren), and has a great relationship with parents and siblings. I have noticed by some of the men I have been with that guys that usually have solid relationships with their families, are solid in their relationships. One thing I can't stand is men (well this goes for women as well) that dont take care of their children, and complain about paying child support, that is a MAJOR red flag for me. I have also noticed men that have respect for their Moms, generally have high respect for women.

2. Someone who works and can hold down a job. I know the guys are automatically thinking, "GOLD DIGGER", not true. I dont care what a guy does as long as he knows how to financially take care of his self. I dont need someone to take care of me or my daughter, because I do that just fine, but I dont ever intend taking care of a man, unless we were married or in a long term relationship, and somehow the guy becomes disabled or ill with cancer or something like that. That is what love is about. I wouldnt leave someone I love just because they got sick.

3. Someone who has a "sound" mind. LOL I know to a certain extent we all have some kind of issues, some more than others , but I can't be with someone that continuosly has "drama". I also can't be with a drug addict, or alcoholic, I dont want to have the life of heartache and chaos being with and addict causes. I also WILL NOT be with a man that has a history of violence, dont need to explain that one..

4. S-- ( made you look lol) anyway.. I think its an important part of a relationship with 2 people that love each other. Yep, thats right I said 2. I dont want to be with a guy that wants to bring someone else into our "relations". I am not bisexual, and also do not want to be with a guy who is. Sorry not my thing.. I have actually have truly been in love ONCE in my life, and it wasn't with my ex husband, but I noticed that making love with someone you love with all of your being, is the best sex, I dont even like to decribe it as sex, because words just can't describe the feeling. I am a faithful woman, and want to be with a man that is happy with just one woman. I am beyond passionate, but thats with one man, and one that I love.

5. Someone that can make me laugh and has a great sense of humor. I really am a big kid, sometimes more of a kid than my daughter. LOL My sense of humor is goofy and playful, and Im really good at laughing at myself.

6. PERSONALITY TYPES.. I feel will break or make relationships, I am old enough now to know what works for me. There are personality types that I just dont mesh well with, and there are guys that my personality doesnt work for as well. I don't get along with guys that are overly sarcastic. "I" feel people that are overly sarcastic is just another way of being mean and putting others down. I HAVE TO BE WITH A MAN WITH A GOOD HEART!!! Im a little on the introverted side, which really I dont think is a bad thing, but some guys prefer a more outgoing woman, which is ok, but thats not me. Its not that Im so introverted that I dont have conversations or like to get out and have a good time, its more like Im just the type of woman that doesnt need to be loud or the center of attention, and I actually prefer to be with a man like that.

7. Politics, My political views tend to swing more on the democrat/liberal side. I'm always interested in hearing others peoples opinions, but if someone is going to put me down because of what I believe in politcally ( usually a conservative lol) to me thats a form of control. I believe in what I want, you believe in what you want, it doesnt make me better, it doesnt make you better. LOL



I will add more later, but my teenage daughter is yelling at me to use the computer.LOL I would love to see what others look for in a potential mate..

`hi wildflower I am getting whiplash with the pic changes but I reckon thats ur thing and I bet u r constantly judgeing ur pics as not the best you can take?Take it easy on urself gf.All of ur pics that I have seen look marvelous darling,ok for all u swing se---lly oriented ----- that was not a comeon to wildflower so chill ur heels.Ok now for what I need in a man hmmm first thing that comes to mind is that he simply must be a breather,I know some of u r saying huh but now u know there are some that perfer the blowup male dolly to the real pulse and lord have mercy I won't begin to say why...2)Now this one I thought long and hard about,I don't care if he is blind or mute but he must be able to hear so he can take direction and feel my pain when I am crying uncontrollablly while speaking incohertently,don't ask but yes I am troubled about the peace in the middle east.3) I perfer he simply wait on me 24/7 but if he must work I perfer he be a carpenter or electrician with an excellent life insurance policy that is current.Oh yea if we must live apart for however long then I perfer he have a tent by the lake because I need fresh fish and fresh water almost daily and he really needs to be able to hold his own in a shooting match be it bow and arrow or semi-politically correct handguns.Ok that about sizes it up for me and I will give this some more thought but now my head hurts just from putting this much down.ttyl gf and have a simply great redneck day.hugs and kisses nope u super freaks that still isn't me flirting hahaha

And Wildflower, I hope you are still here, people like southernfinery have nothing better to do than bash others, you seem like good peeps, dont let her igonrance and judemental ways scare you or anyone else. We are all here for a reason that is to either find something meaningful, friendships, or love, she needs to take her hate elsewhere.

And one more thing SOUTHERNHATE, if the woman wants to change her picture a million time, is that your concern. How do you know the woman is constantly judging her pics? And if she was because she didnt feel good about herself, do you know the life she has lived? You are full of hate and igorance, how sad for you
