I think most people are unhappy with at least one aspect of their appearance and wish they could change it. But you have to be realistic about it. I'm a BBW. However I think I'm pretty fit. I have dated mostly men on pluscupid.com, who are quite a bit slimmer than I am. They just like the curves and places to hold on to!

I am an artist. For years I have done life drawing and painting from
live models. I will say that a "plumper" model has always been
more interesting to me. When a model is skin on a bony frame,
I almost lose interest. There is a reason that artist have painted
women of volume and muscular men for certuries. These bodies
are just more interesting.

I'm trying to love myself. At the same time, I am losing weight for health reasons.
I'm coming to terms with the fact that skinny for me will probably be a size 10 or 12 at the smallest. And some people are still going to think that's fat. But my body isn't meant to be really small. No one in my family is (well, except one cousin, but I'm pretty sure she's a mutant, lol).
It's a huge transition for me to be learning to love myself. It's probably more important than losing the weight. It's certainly harder to do.
