Is it just me, or does it strike anyone else here as being a little gauche and tactless to have advertisements for fat camps, weight-loss, etc. on a site like this? I understand the reason this site is free for us is because the advertisers pay to have their products on here keeping the site going, but would anyone on say, a bodybuilding or fitness website like seeing ads for milkshakes, pizza, hamburgers and so on? Looks like more fat-related bias to me.

`To bump this, I see nothing but dating site ads that display nothing but super-thin women. Really? Come on guys.

` Yeah, and even some of the "BBWs" in a couple of the ads look like they don't weigh more than 170 lbs. =P

HA! You too? It's nice to see I'm not the only one with that little hobby!

@ ssbbwloverinnv

How about that link to the "This Is Why You're Huge" website. LMBO! Wow, tactless much?!
Then it goes on to say under the link "Is it bad if this site makes you hungry?" LOL - Priceless.
Later tater, Alligator!

` Continuing my rant about ads here, what's with the 'Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Ritchie were better when they were FAT'?? They probably were not much past 120 lbs. when they were "fat". :D

`It's kind of ironic really. Here we are (the guys mostly I mean) to meet bbw women and all and they're throwing that crap in our face lol. As for Lohan and Ritchey I am of the opinion that they should eat a cake or two. Not a slice, but a cake. They kind of resemble skeletons in my book

`That's exactly right. I was trying to point out the irony of having ads like that on a site designed to uplift BBWs (and big guys too) and make them feel good about themselves, not be reminded of what society allegedly thinks of them and what standard of attractiveness they are supposed to meet. Good one about Lindsay Lohan--that's why when Achmed the Dead Terrorist tries to get through airport security, he says, "Hello! I'm Lindsay Lohan!" :)

`Lol, I forgot about that. Oh well, such is the commercial society, which honestly I have no problem with. Just funny to point out ironies and out and out hypocrisies:)
