The way this website is layed out seems as it was coded in HTML 4, it's kind of cluttered, it took a while to get used to. Seeing how I haven't yet figured out how to make a blog post this website needs to have a tab in Forums & Blogs that is "Create Blog" or "New Blog Post". Also the extreme pushing to create other passion network accounts is kind of irritating.

We prefer to have member account options all in one place, which is why the 'MY BLOG' link is located in the Account area.

With regards to what you describe as 'extreme pushing to create other Passions Network accounts', we only recommend sites that match each member based on the information they have listed during registration.

By the way, creating multiple 'accounts' is against the rules, but we are fairly sure what you were referring to is the recommendations for other sites that match you in some way.

No member is required to add additional sites in their account, but most members do.

The benefit is that you increase the chances that you will meet others who share your passions in life.

By the way, the network was started in 2004, and has had one rather significant 'facelift' since it's original design.

We work on it everyday, and we will eventually get around to giving it another facelift.

Our priorities at the moment are on translating the network into multiple languages, and updating it for mobile use.
