Getting past insecurities

Does anyone else out there find that, even when dating someone from sites like this, they're still slow to accept that the other person truly finds them sexy?

`I used to be very confident of myself, but my last relationship destroyed that confidence and made me put up walls in my life (for the moment) and I know that it's not fair for anybody that wants to date me, not be able to, just because of past experiences. Only time will tell.

I've never met anyone from a dating site like this. But in my last relationship, I was very self conscious. I even wanted to keep my clothes semi-on during sex, until my boyfriend convinced me that he loved my body. I remember he told me he had a dream and I was naked and he said it was the best dream he's ever had.... And I remember thinking, what? That sounds like more of a nightmare! Hahaha

If I were to date someone from here, though, where I know they're into chubbier girls from the start, I think I might be more able to accept that they do truly find me sexy. I'd probably loosen up a lot more quickly.

`I find that many men from sites like this have no experience with bigger women. LOL - so what should have been wonderful experiences were trying at best. LOL
But really, I think that confidence has to come from within. I would love to say that I met a man that ushered me into ------/ body confidence, but that would be a lie as while I laying there as he caressed my body - I was constantly trying to find my happy place (LMBO!) because I still couldn't accept and see the beauty he found in me. I didn't become as comfortable as I am now until I really examined myself mentally and physically...THEN my confidence came.
