Hey all,

This is my first time posting something and I think this issue is pretty interesting. First of all, I know I am not skinny. In reality, I am a plus size girl. I hold my weight really well. I get approach a lot but seem to not be able to find the guy I would want to be with. So, online dating seems to be the best option. And to add to that, being on a website dedicated to people who are larger is a place I feel most comfortable with. I seem to come across many men that find me smaller and not what they are looking for. It's interesting because I am too small in the plus size world and too large in "the smaller community." For someone like me, it's difficult to date. Any advice. I have read many of the post and you guys give some great advice!

`Difficult to answer, but easy to understand. I guess, the only thing I can think of (sorry for the cliche) is to keep your chin up and to not stop searching for the one you think will complete you.

`First, I don't want to be labelled as a spelling nazis, but southernfinery you were one letter off, it is entourage. But that is irrelevant to this topic.

I just think it is the people you have met so far. One thing I have come to realized is that we all come in different shape and sizes. And for everyone there is someone that likes that shape and or size. We always think of the right now but it may take sometime before someone comes forward that you are interested in and is back. That was one lesson I have found out myself.

`Interesting dilema Hap.
I actually found that I am not old enough for a couple of fellas on here who are older than I am.
There really is a great diversity as to what people like or dislike and what catches thier eye. It is what makes the world go around.
Would a be a boring world if all women looked like Barbie and all men looked like Ken.

`ok andriek your a spelling nazis lol.yep ya we live in a world where folks want and do judge books by their covers. The never ending onslaught of negativity thrown at the overweight majority of people is based on and in prejudice. There is no sound reasoning for the way large people are treated,be it from doctors,at work,in schools,in the movie house,in hollyweird,or,and not by any means less, family members except to lay it at the feet of prejudice and fear. Now back to the subject at hand oh yea andriek the spelling nazis rofl

It woudn't bother me. I find any size from "a few extra pounds" to BBW attractive. Just don't want a skinny GF or one that is tooooooooo big.

`What's too big? Just curious... seems very subjective, and as I like to say, from outer space, we're all just specks...

In my case, I enjoy walking and visiting parks. I would want someone to be able to share that with and that could fit into an amusement park ride and enjoy it. It didn't work out with my last GF due to a deteriorating back since her childhood that won't let her even stand or walk more than a few minutes. But the love was great! :
