I't happened to me and I also played along because he really thought i was falling for him. My and my family had great laughs at his expence. If you pay attention they are very easy to spot.

And of course I was gonna do this..and they were gonna repay me when they got back to the states...but it was for US...and our future! Again..yeah Right!!!!

LOLOLOL...ok..How stupid do they think we really are?? Does being fat mean you cant think?? Is the fat supposed to have surrounded our brain rendering us incapable of rational thought?

Has this happened to other girls here? LOL I'd just like to know if I'm some sorta con man magnet!]




Haahaahaa I have gotten those on other sites....let me guess, their profile photos were of men with male model good looks too?

`Wow, I had no idea this little scam was so prevelant. The first guy I ever really communicated with from this site was EXACTLY like the original poster. described. in fact he is still on the site although now his photo is gone. The one from his profile was totally different than the one he e-mailed me. Also, sometimes his e-mails sounded just like listening to the old I love Lucy tv series when Desi would fracture English so badly. then other times it was perfect. I always thought it was 2 different people. I played along too because it was the worst case of romantic bull $hit you ever read. Anyway, when the money requests started, I played him some more till he got angry and nasty and then I sent him on his way.
I milked him for any tidbits of info and searched all of it on the internet. Some of the stuff I could varify(cell phone nubers and where they orginated) and some I could not(his home address in San Francisco)
It was sort of fun, like playing detective but sad too because I could easily see how someone who was not as suspicious as I could get sucked in.
And he too had a wife that died 5 years ago in a car accident. Could this be a couple of guys running multiple scams and sharing a common knowledge profile story?
