`I know, the problem is with everyone else. They go along with the crap that women need to be these "skinny" sizes. However years before bbw were consider sexy. Even though we are individuals, social groups are what we long to be apart of. Not everyone, but there are a large group of people that try to fit in and don't realized they are sexy in their rights

`Andriek, you said a mouthfull.
For anyone who is a bit different, life can be extremely tough, starting from childhood and when that happens, it carries over a lot.
Some people can blow off the nasty comments and laughter and go about life but for some it cuts deep and the hurting never stops.
We have all heard or read at least one letter to an advice column or two about how one spouse put on weight and the other no longer loves them. shallow people but there you have it. The fear that can create in a relationship, that all will be over if one gains weight is tremendous.
I doubt its different for men but men just keep the hurts inside and either come across cold and callus or the jolly fella at all the gatherings and even humor becomes insulation against any hurts or nasty attitudes.

`Probably cause general society/media/our peers has made us feel like the way we look isn't normal and isn't sexy and a lot of people carry those insecurities into adulthood. The fact that their are "closeted chubby chasers" out there kind of makes you feel like crap too. I'm very happy with myself and the way I look, but I've gotten/still get a lot of shallow comments made towards my body. There are a lot of shallow people out there.

` There are a lot of short sighted people, it is best to ignore them .... now in saying that I know that it isn't that easy to, I mean we are all human and want to belong to a group. But to belong you have to first love yourself and the person you are then people who like you we tend to stay with you more than if your are some fake person.

`andriek you are right on a few levels but wrong on one important one and that is the part about fake people.You see on this site right here I have already noticed quit a few choosing fakes over the real ones because of something as childish as them liking how the faker said it.You can't have it both ways.If you sit in a judgement seat over someone elses words then 1)you better know what your doing and 2) you better be prepared to have the same done to you....There are alot of folks out there that can't relate their feelings into the printed word like they wish for it to be conveyed to others mainly because their thoughts are going alot faster then their fingers.For another they can't seem to indentify when someone is being legite with them and/or can't take a heartfelt compliment.Either way it goes that is on the receiver and not the sender.

And when I was saying fake people in my post, I meant that if you are something you are not, you will not have a group of friends around you. So be true to yourself was all I was trying to get across
