So, the last 3 men that have chatted me up all started out really friendly and nice and I generally tell them right off the bat that I don't like dicussing body parts, or cyber S-- or what ever you want to call it and 1 got REAL offended instantly. I thought, okay, maybe I should just skip that part and nip it in the bud if and when it starts. Sure enough 3 or 4 IM sessions later, the guy who was soooo offended was clearly drunk one night and wanted to discuss body parts, when I had S-- last, what certain parts of me looked like...etc. and I realized he was probably masturbting while he was typing. It was THAT kind of conversation. I laughingly reminded him how he swore he didn't do that sort of thing either and the conversation ended shortly after that. Never heard from him again.
Same thing, almost verbatim with 2 other men.
So, what the heck??
Is this real common or am I a prude or have I just been getting the odd ducks or am I too old fashioned or what the heck??
I am almost reluctant to talk to another fella. I have gone over my profile to see if i am saying something in it that lures these guys in or
Is that how dating these days goes? I haven't been actively looking for a mate in 41 years so I am a little out of the loop. I sort of thought things couldn't possibly have changed THAT much, could they??
Any thoughts from any one??

` I would say for my age group and younger it would be fairly common. I don't fully know however. You see it a lot for movies where some character tries to initiate it or it just happens. I wouldn't rule out that they wanted a simple score though.

`It very much is something common now in days. But the thing that bugs me is that you told them you weren't into that or looking for that. A gentleman would have respected that. It pretty much is up to the two people involved inthe situation. If they are both willing to talk dirty or so on more power to them. I just hate the men that expect you to automatically jump on that band wagon. Sometimes they make you feel like just a piece of meat. And cookinbubbles, your not old,or out of the loop. I've gotten messages on here were they start off with what are you wearing? And I'm like hello, do I know you? I think these men just don't know any manners.

`imo they are attempting to get prostitute services without paying for anything. These guys are really pigs,bottomfeeders,lowlifes,etc......These creeps get it into their heads that if womencan get paid for talking dirty to someone over the phone then they can get unsuspecting lonely, vulnerable, women to just listen to them while they do something extremely private and personal.I mean really we know that these phone-sex operators are just glorified prostitues because they are selling S-- for money.

`ya know, thats EXACTLY how it feels too, like a phone S-- operator thing.
I just am so uncertain about how to end it. If I say something right off, it always sound so ....prudish and I am far from a prude. But on the other hand. what my privates look like is my business unless me and a fella got something serious going. And I don't mean on the computer either.
TO me its a waste of time to talk to someone who is busy whacking his weasel. If he can't pay attention to me or get to know me then that guy can go do it on his own time.

Being new here, I'm not sure of the features, but you could always block them? Failing that, a simple "f-off" should do the trick, but then again, that could backfire and trigger an erection too. ;)

ive been online now for about 7 years , and found the BBW scene about 6 years ago , chat rooms forums clubs etc etc , and almost EVERY SINGLE chat ive had with guys has turned to S-- chat within minutes, if i let it
i do try and "steer" the conversation other ways , i tell them im happily married and not interested and still it makes no difference , , the times guys have stopped talking because i wont comply or talk about what they want to talk about ...thier loss !!! basically most , not all men are secret perves lol specially online !!

I agree... they try to push it even when you steer the conversation the other direction away from anything s----l. I just don't reply. And it is their LOSS |

`I think its pretty common wether you are talking about an older age group or younger age group, and I agree mizcurious3 if both parties agree to it and are into it then have at it.
The thing that amazes me is when a guy I dont even know and have maybe gotten in 3 words or so with starts talking about s--.
It just cracks me up, how often can that work? lol
** I should note (so as not to seem like a faker) that Im not against it and I dont think people are nasty or horrible for doing it,
I just think some decency could go into it, and really if someone says they are not into it then that person should respect that and leave off.

`That does indicate that there are some guys out there just wanting s--. I am aware of those that it is on their mind and have the social graces of a stumbling elephant. ..... that makes sense right? I couldn't think of a good metaphor there. Anyways. they don't seem to realized that it is pretty much like walking up to some random person and asking for s--.
