You are in a long term relationship and you find that your significant other is text messaging past gf's...How do you approach them about it? Should you worry? Are they looking to cheat? are they not happy? Can anyone be of any help to me regarding this? Thanks!!! :)

That can be a tough nut to crack...most folks I know tend to stay on friendly terms with their ex's, at least with the one's where the relationship didn't end on the apocalyptic side of things. Texting them might just be the usual harmless friendly chit-chat. If you've been together for awhile, you probably know him pretty well, and can pick up on any other "oddities" in his behavior -- has he given you any other reasons to believe he may be thinking about someone else?
Bottom line, if its making you feel uncomfortable, and it seems to be, I think you should openly ask him about it. If he's a good guy, he'll respect that you're feeling uneasy and you can talk it out. If he's a s---heel, at least you'll know and then you can stomp a mudhole in his ass.
