I watched this Youtube video on "Dating Don'ts for Women" I originally saw it posted on some guy's dating profile. The guy in video wore a mask, instead of showing his face, as he cracked on women's dating profiles. He suggested that women should post their actual weight. I know it's common for most guys to post their weight, but does it really matter, if we don't?
Isn't posting current pictures and describing yourself as BBW or full-figured enough, no matter which dating site you are on?
Inquiring minds want to know...

`It depends on how confident you are in yourself to want to release that information, but it is not essential,
I suppose,in some BBW admirers,it fires the imagination, but it is not a question I would want to ask
Maybe an alternative would be to give an approximate dress size instead ,then the guy can have a reasonable idea without weight being mentioned.

`As an FA and BBW admirer, it does tend to give a better picture of someone figure, particular when photos aren't clear. But saying that, It's by no means a must, and it really comes down to self confidence. Probably not particularly helpful lol, but that's my two sense on the less lol.

`I used to have issues about puting my size on sites or to even talk about it. But ive grown to be accustomed to it. I am big and I don't like that I'm fat but I have no problem admitting I'm a hot plus size woman with an awesome personality and open mind. Your weight doesn't make you who you are, the person you are and the things you've been through are what make you, you. A guy may ask your weight but That's just like him asking if your funny or not, its another great and fundamental part of what makes you who you are. So it's really up to you if you want the possible "one day Man of your dreams" know how much you weigh.

`I don't really know how I feel about posting weight...I guess I'm torn. I was just taught that weight wasn't really public information. And while I openly admit to being a large woman, I don't even really know my 'real' weight. It's not something that I even concern myself with so I don't understand why some are saying it has to do with self confidence. I know that some men want Really large women while others are just looking for someone thick but if a profile really catches your attention does that number really make a difference?
But the bigger question is why don't most of the guys on here take the time to tell us what kind of girl would interest them! They usually have blegh intros and sketchy personal info but don't take the time to fillout their matchs' info.

`True, Shini, but a lot of that is subjective based on the person, though. Half the time I don't even look at match into, basically just looking to see if smokers are banned,. No? Okay, message away!
If a really interesting guy messaged me and didn't match my "match". Oh well, throw it out the window:P
I don't like posting my weight either. It's like posting your income, that's not really anyone else's business, in my opinion:P

`I always find it sad that due to a lifetime of possible shame and abuse, big women feel they must hide that magic number from men, and other woman out of fear of personal or public ridicule. As a lifetime FA, I have to tell you ladies, take pride in every pound, every inch of your beauty, you and your potential man will be much happier for it.

`One of my thoughts is that people don't really know what a certain weight looks like, and that weights look different on different frames. There are a couple of web site / blogs out there that explore that by posting pics of real people with their heights & weights. But in general, I say be honest. You don't have to put it on your profile, but at some point in the spirit of full disclosure don't feel bad sharing the info. If a number turns them off, then they just weren't that into you anyway.

`I know I'm late, but why not put in your profile?...Get the uncomfortableness( I am aware that's not a real word) of it out of the way, the whole I really like him but if he knew what I weigh would he still talk to me? I personally have never been asked by a man how much weighed, it's something I tell upfront when I give my *stats* height, weight, hair, eyes etc, within the first few messages. I actually think it is just as uncomfortable for men to ask as it can be for women to tell. So by putting it in my profile it takes that away, everyone who looks at my profile can see my weight, so they don't have to ask and I don't have to tell every individual separately, or worse have to wonder when the question will come up.

`Do guys really want to know girls weight?
As a guy I'd have to say my opinion couldn't put much weight into the big picture but personally I don't care how much you weigh.
I just wanna see what you look like, what you act like, weight is meaningless.

`I am tired of this world's focus on weight, I say be proud of who you are! Be the one to strike the wall with the hammer and say " Here I am! " .
