shark week may just be in north america if so shark week is a week in august where discovery channel plays a lot of shows about sharks!! for people who may not know

Interesting they are showing it again now because there was a Great White shark attack off Massachusetts a couple days ago, the first time since the 1930s. That's also where "Jaws" took place--"You're going to need a bigger boat!"

We love this thread.

It may be awhile before we build out the domain Shark Passions...but we bought the domain a few months ago.

Our focus for the next few months is to continue rolling out International sites, and we are also working on a project directly related to Facebook that should make it easier for Facebook members to use our network.

But sometime after that, we plan to build out a whole site around the concept of Sharks...Shark Movies, Shark Books, Shark Television shows, Shark Information areas (ie. many types of sharks are endangered for a number of reasons, and most people have no idea.).

Of course, we will provide links to Shark Week info, along with a wealth of other Shark related areas.

We like having a mix of sites in Passions Network that range from general interest (ie. Political, Religious, Geographic, etc.), to highly specific (ie. Hot Sauce, Chocolate Lovers, Superhero and soon, Sharks).

We think this approach allows members to express themselves and their individuality through a wide range of community sites.

We haven't counted, but there are probably between 50-100 more sites (so far) in our queue for development.

"Jaws" is a great movie. I just loved that fear-inducing music track as the Great White was coming in for the kill. Peter Benchley's original novel was good too. The other Jaws sequel movies sucked, however.

Being a history buff, the shark attacks on the survivors of the USS Indianapolis in WW2 was an interesting if not graphic, story. I think the Shark Week series covers that.

Hedgehog Passions?? What do you think, Mr. Feedback? :)

@sheeva i think its a few of the same mixed with new. my brother bought me the collectors edition and its over 26 hours of sharks!!! its pretty beautiful. id love to cage dive w them and do some underwater photography!
