I am definately at that point in my life aswell, where i am happy and content with myself and my body (even though i am trying to get rid of some of these love handles for health reasons mainly ) therefore feel like MY happiness with MYSELF is initially more important than finding happiness with anybody else.

I definately believe that if us big girls can't find it in ourselves to accept our own bodies then how in the heck can we expect any guy to accept us!
It's just not logical. Especially how some of u have mentioned that u would hate to be with a guy that loves u ONLY for your jiggly parts and not for you as a whole package.. i mean that cant be real love.

Insecurity is not attractive, we as Big Beatiful women need to find the confidence to FEEL BEAUTIFUL enough to know that we DESERVE a right to love, attention, appreciation and affection!

I think the reason most guys who don't ussually prefer BBW's but are with one, make us feel unattractive or uncomfy, is because we dont show that we feel we derserve these rights! and i think that's terribly sad that it is the case.

We are the ones effectively making ourselves feel uncomfortable...

It does'nt have to be that way, go out wearing a flattering outfit, get ur nails or hair done, throw ur chin in the air and feel proud, girls!!!

Maya, I really resonated with this. The truth is, at my current weight I'm unhealthy and experiencing physical issues directly related to my weight. In addition, I haven't felt strong, confident, or pretty in years. (Which, admittedly- is more an identity issue for me than a weight one.)

I want to be fit. I've always wanted to be fit - which isn't a size to me. As I go to the gym more seriously and begin to add a greater variety of fruits and veggies to what I eat - I will very likely lose a large portion of my weight in pursuit of better health and the freedom to be more spontaneous- not feeling like I'm hindered by my lack of fitness.

Will I get skinny? Possible, but highly unlikely - I want some muscle and curves - not to mention I never plan on eating a sesame seed and feeling full. I want to delight in all things - food, family, friends - and stop letting my own fears stop me. But if a gentleman only likes one or the other...? Then I would seem an odd duck who is out of place in either pond.

In the end I think everyone deserves to be fully embraced and passionately loved for who they are. While attraction and chemistry are important, I think that who you are bleeds through and can re-color the shape of desire. In the effect that: thick, thin, fit, bbw, ssbbw, etc - you are what makes it sexy to him/her.

Hi I think being comfortable in front of your man is the most important thing in a relationship. if you are not comfortable to show off your sexiness to your man then he definitely didn't deserve you. I am a man and I love it when my woman feels sexy and I love to make her feel so desirable. there is a reason I am with you, if I didn't find you beautiful and sexy I wouldn't be with you.
