Hey folks,
You know it may be true that a picture can say a thousand words! Although, meeting in person is so crucial to finding your match, a picture is the ideal way to start things off.
Like most people, I believe that there are multiple levels of attraction: physical, emotional, intelectual, spiritual, etc. However, it is true that most people base their first opinion of another upon their appearance.
I myself was a bit reluctant to post my picture all over the net. But really, I also know that who ever is looking at my picture is also seeking out relationships (in their varing forms) and I get to ultimately choose who I am corresponding with and follow my gut about being safe.
It was helpful for me to ask myself the following questions:
"What do I ultimately want from this or these sites?"
"What is my purpose on this and other sites?"
"Do I want to be noticed?"
"And most importantly, if you don't want to be noticed, what is that about 'for you'?"

The reason I dont have a pic up quite yet is that I'm looking for a "good one." But maybe that's just a self-confidence issue on a sub-conscience level....what do you think?

`I consider myself to be uglier then sin but I got brave and bought a webcam, then took a few pics. more ladies will look at my pic and then comment on my bad choice of nicknames, (but it's not a bad choice from here). And what do you know we have a conversation started. I think take a pic that makes you feel good but also is the true you and post it More men will look you over when there is a reason to look. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so let the men behold your beauty!

`wish I had a web cam. I took my pic in the bathroom at work with my cell phone...LOL.
Even a funny pic is better than none.
And there are some hilarious ones on this web site.
Like the one of a guys hairy belly.
Cracks me up.

I guess more startling than anything.

Makes an old lady feel good to get a compliment now and then.

i am a thin, pretty dyke with long blonde hair and grey blue eyes.
