why does it seem most of the posters here are pretty young?

and viking, my last boyfriend was dyslexic and at first i was like wtf is he saying. but in all honesty, people dont know until you tell them. i dont think its fair for people to judge you on ur spelling skills, but personally i prefer people who are eloquent and it wasnt until we began speaking i realized he was. basically my point is, ur cool. lol.
im not exactly sure why most of the posters here are young, but i like to hear from different age groups. and im new to this site, so im trying to get into the habit of posting on forums.

That sounds like interesting work. I'm an electronics nut myself and even managed to get all my shows off a corrupted DVD recorder HD once. Just need to find a way to make money around here on my own. BTW I'm 53 and have long hair too. One of my older cousins was dyslexic and he is an art professor now at a small college in N. Alabama.

I used to surf the singlesnet forums a lot too and noticed that over 90% of the posting is done by a few dozen regulars which represent a tiny fraction of the members. Many on that site don't even know about the forums.

`I don't reply to everything that appears on the site but sometimes I just can't hold my opinion in for some topics...and for this topic I feel like I am at an age here that is stuck in between I see so many 18-24 years olds...at 30 I feel like I have nothing in common with anyone so much younger than me...there seems to be few in the 30's and then its seems to jump to late 40's and older...and for myself that is too much age gap...never any happy medium I guess wherever you look...but I still keep on looking :)

`Oh to be young. I have noticed the same, there are quite a bit more younger people but I guess that is the dating age. I get along with all ages pretty much. then again I'm only looking to make friends therefor the age thing isn't such a big factor for me. Don't give up though keep looking ya never know when that love bug is going to slap you.

`I think more younger people are on sites like these only because theyr just more internet savvy. Also its more acceptable for the younger generation to do online dating and online h--k ups. I personally dont mind it though because Iv been with women much older than me and women my own age. Most young people havent found "the one" yet either so maybe that has something to do with it as well?

`There does seem to be small clumps of different age groups but definitely the under 25 is the most represented. While I'd like to consider myself not too far detached from what is trendy I can't imagine we'd have many of the same interests. I've dated younger and older and positively prefer older. Bottom line though is how mature the person is no matter what age they are and of course if you click with them.
