Hey! New here, so forgive me if this has already been talked about.
Went on another lame-o date. It seems that so many men talk about wanting to meet a nice woman, they seem like good guys. So you go out with them, they want sleep the first date.
1) If you don't, they wont give you the time of day after.
2) If you do, they call you all the time to get together just to screw... But no real dates or getting to know you happens after that. Basically a bootie call.
I was wondering if this is the new norm. Are others getting this too? Maybe you guys can shed some light on this.
It is so sad when you want to meet a guy and cant find one that wants to get to know you beyond a good f*ck. Sigh...

`this is truly sad to see and even sadder to discuss in today's society.We have so many self-righteous backyard getto liberated don't ask don't tell mamas and papas wanting to force their liberation on all others and have the nerve to call it freedom of expression.Ok so how many do you know that think banging booties in the dark without a relationship gets you where you need to be emotionally?I mean let's just put aside the outbreaks of sphilis and ghonarrea or even the aids epidemic that is absolutely devastating africa,leaving so many children orphaned.Imo this kind of attitude about --- is a cry for help because in todays society it is an act of wanting to commit suicide slowly that makes grown knowledgeable people participate in such self-damaging actions.We as ladies need to take back our virtue from these guys that only want your vagina and nothing else.I honestly believe that alot of this ------"freedom"has been thrust upon us from these college kids.I am not saying all colleges are knee-deep in this ridiculous behavior but there are a few that are.Alot of these girls and guys are out of their parents reach supposedly and so they go insane imo.The alcohol and drugs are as easily obtained as is a bus ride to town.I honestly believe there should be a lockdown on these campuses after 11 and imo no frathouse or fraternity should be allowed to throw a party in their living quarters and definitely not without adult supervision.This nonsense of girls prostituting off campus and guys gang raping and uploading it on video has to stop.We are not animals and our children need to except that and act accordingly.I hope you find the strength to just say no dear and make any guy you are considering dating,treat you with nothing but respect and that means not letting anyone refer to you as their B----.

`Well most guys are gonna want that but if you can wait and find the guy that wants it but is willing to give you the time you deserve until he gets it, then there is a keeper.. I mean if he really cares about you, then you should be worth the wait.. Well thats just my mind set I guess..

I know exactly the feeling. In fact, I just dealt with this a couple nights ago. But since the beginning of highschool, I haven't had anything serious happen with a guy for this reason. And I'll be dammed if I give in and fool myself that if I do this, we'll go further. I may be a big girl, but that doesn't mean I should lose my self respect and it doesn't mean that I'm desperate for --- (as some like to believe).
But I will hold out until one comes a long and proves that he worth my time and body. Until then, they're all stuck in the friend zone (or don't-answer-this-call zone)
