This is a subject no one ever wants to talk about and I yhink thats the promblem. when asked alot of people admitt having had thoughs thoughts for a bigg girl like myself I suffered With depressin for four years before I first attepted suicide during my senior year of high school before trying to do so I had asked my guidence conceller for help on two different occanions to have no one even try to help me s
o I headed up to the roof of the school standing there for the second time that very week looking over the edge at the pavement below I thought yeah I could do it if I jumped it probly wouldn't kill me but if I dived it would most defintly brake my neck but I climbed back in. to my surprise the school had taken notice and I was taken to a hospitle were I stayed for ten day but what helped me more than the staffv was the friend I had made he came in two day after me but we clicked he had eaten a bottle of pill he was sixteen and gay and the people at his school were narrow minded assjh0l3s after returning home I attepted once more and since have been seeing a doctor. Depression is an everyday battle That I struggle with and so do many others everyone has demons and struggle with different thing bbut we all have one thing in common we are not ALONE any more

`I know a man who deals with depression everyday. it's not what he likes to talk about but has. He is a tall man, and lives alone. his wife and children don't stop by wont visit, but do call when they remember to. He feels unloved. and that is the crust of his depression. He's a family type man and needs human interaction. Me, I'm a loner type to a point, so we don't see eye to eye on a lot of issues which makes for some stimulating conversations. He enjoys going out to restaurants ny himself because he'll make a joke of how short a lady is to him just to make them laugh and this is to him a friendly gesture. but by the time he leaves he's depressed again. The meds he takes help but not for long he seems to have heart pains and back aches and knee problems when he's really depressed. Loneliness is the biggest contributor to suicide amoung the elderly and overweight crowd. I myself have bouts with it as well but dealing with it is why I come here. may not find love but may find a friend or two. that to me makes the difference. it's just building up trust seems to take longer then it use to....lol

`I have often wondered why comedians are some of the most depressed and suicidal individuals on the planet but now I know that the comedy is an attempt at some feeling of normalcy and a way to let the inner child scream without alienating themself.Depression can cause feelings of loneliness by making us feel so isolated in our suffering. It can also cause physical pain and sickness by wearing down our ability to fight back or to even care. The part of our brain that produces endorphines lays dormant because we just don't want to move.So the part of the brain that produces the feel good feeling is beaten down by the part that produces the loneliness and isolation and don't care feelings because that is the part you feed the most when in a depressed state.Smoking pot only feeds that part of the brain more and confuses the brain more by numbing you so you don't feel anything. The pot clouds your brain while it destroys brain cells and when you look at the brain of someone who is high,it looks like a stroke victims brain tape readout.Alcohol does the same thing.Esctasy is even worse and has been the suicide pill because of the feelings of pure euphoria that are so strong. When you come down off of it, a depressed person feels the depression 10x stronger and it becomes overwhelming. It is like your brain is tossed to the floor from a high shelf.Believe it or not sweets have the same effect but on a lower scale inthat it produces the feeling of euphoria but only for a short time and then you crash to the floor but the distance of the fall for your brain isn't the same so you regroup quicker to pursue the next feel good moment which your brain has already registered as being produced from the sweets.I have come to know these things over the years and I can only hope and pray it helps someone.gbu

I've found smoking a good sativa helps with my depression.Moving away from family helped minimize depression and suicidal thoughts as well. I'm not much for giving advice but I hope you never commit suicide.

`There were times I were depressed and suicide did cross my mine quite a bit. I suggest doing some self *nalyzing and read up on the subject. When I did I started giving myself goals and well I just have a better feeling about life. I have a ambition, goals those things keep me focus in my self I say I cant die yet I got things I gotta do. Not saying I will never day but it totally takes the suicide and depression out of my head. It gives me a worth better then any drug or pill could ever do. And when I achieve certain goals that feeling is greater and then boom something clicks a higher goal. Ur greatest fear can sometimes be ur greatest ally in life achievements. Check around on some personal goals ud like to do. Hope this gives an extra alternative idea. Best of luck XD
