Are girls who LOVE sports intimidating?

My bestie and I were discussing why we are single and we came to the conclusion that we intimidate guys with our fanatical love of certain sports.

Do you believe this to be true? What do you think of girls you can sit and watch a game with?

`I love watching certain teams playing football.I like the nfl not college ball,don't ask me why.One of my friends would watch with me alot and we would root for opposite teams just to make it exciting lol.We would get pretty loud especially when her team(Dallas) was playing.I like watching golf also but can't find someone that likes it like I do.We as women and builders of civilizations should not ever be ashamed of our interests.It is a part of what makes you you and therefore should be appreciated by anyone wanting to know you.If it is a problem or a means of tension between the two of you then reconsidering your choice of a potential mate would not be out of line.

`That is awesome!! I love baseball!! Im a huge Phillies fan. I went to my first game in the womb, it has been born into me. I love watching games on TV, going to games, and listening to them on XM radio if I am in the car when they are playing. I recently posted an ad on CL and one guy wrote that "girls who like sports are a turnoff, we dont want to date someone who is like one of the guys". I think he might have had a small ----- and didnt want to admit to it, so he had to be a jerk to compensate, lol.

`well when we're right then we're right and liking something other then having babies is right.You know that when I read your response it reminded me immediately of a book by Stephen King called"the girl who loved tom gordon".I think that if you haven't read it you should.It was apparently one of his earlier works of fiction as the gore wasn't dripping from every other line.It is about a little girl that gets separated from her family while they are on a hike.She only has a transitor radio to keep her company and she keeps listening to these baseball games.It was a very interesting book imo so give it a read and let me know what you think ok......This young guy sounds like he is in competition with us females on some level or else he wouldn't be so threatened by our engaging in such male dominated arenas but times are a changing and what once was male dominated is now also female populated.He sounds like one of those that scream she's a lesbo because his idea,or what the male authority figures in his life,of what a woman should look and act like isn't what really is.He will be alright but if he isn't then NEXT and move on lol.gbu

`My wife of 20yrs was a great baseball/softball/basket ball fan. I am no fan of those sports but threw our years of life I grew to repect her opinion of each team and players. My present lady friend is also big on certain LA teams. most;y baseball and football, and once again I am no fan. I have watched those games on TV but I don't understand a thing their doing or how one thing relates to the other. so in my opinion ladies who love sports are HOT! Lady semi drivers are super sexy, and if they love sports with that Oh boy hold me down....lol

I think that men who are intimidated by women into sports are just scared of real women who think for themselves.
