Honesty. Communication cant be acomplished if both people arent being 100% honest. Without communication there is nothing.

For me it's a sense of humor. I just can't imagine spending life with someone who I couldn't make laugh or couldn't make me laugh.

Since I can only pick one - I'm going to have to go with honesty. I might be able to date and have fun with someone who was not honest with me - but I'd never be able to have a relationship with him. I'd never be able to trust him.
Nothing feels worse than loving someone, believing him, trusting him, then finding out that he's a bold-faced liar. *ouch* - even the memory hurts.

Okay... I'm going to be superficial here because if there isn't something physically that attracts me then I'll never get as far as finding out if he has integrity, honesty, or any of the other necessary characteristics.
I'm attracted to a nice smile!!
No rotten teeth... missing front teeth... no gaping holes where teeth should be...
A man could be the perfect specimen and have every quality I want in the world but if he doesn't have enough respect for himself to put his smile in good shape then I can't get past it.

So many of those things come with a person who repects you, he wouldn't be lying to you, etc. if he was respected you and your relationships. No sense of humor, I'm running the other way! :lol:
