There's nothing wrong with being attracted to older women--that's your pref.
But older women don't respond for probably the same reasons as a younger woman would:
-they don't feel like you're *it*

Maybe it's that you come off as someone trying to get a lay.
I'm not saying you are, but that could be it.
Most older women aren't really looking for that.
It could be the attraction factor.
Maybe they would prefer an older man for themselves.
Overall;
if someone hasn't responded, the best thing to do is move on to the next person.
