How comfortable would you be at a nude beach or any other type nudist function? Do you think your weight would bother you or do you feel like everyone would have body image worries no matter what their size?

Well, I would be nervous with or without a "swimming costume" on any beach. But I assume that nudists are more comfortable with bodies of all type around them than the regular beachgoer. I mean, you're showing EVERYTHING and let's face it--EVERYTHING doesn't look so camera-ready all the time. You can still hide a lot with a bikini when you buy one that is flattering.

Bottom line: I think I'd be more comfortable on a nude rather than public beach. It's so "come as you are." Hopefully one day I can try it!

I don't think I'd feel comfortable at a nude beach. I really have no problem with wearing a bathing suit at the beach or being buck naked with my man. I just don't think no matter what my body type that I'd ever be comfortable with public nudity.

The sand would bother me, a bathing suit is little enough to keep the suckers out, I sure am not going to offer them easier entry!

No thanks. Although I'm quite comfortable with my nudity at home, I don't want to share it in a public forum. Too scared of the the admiration, I guess.

Uh I don't think I could do the nude beach thing. I'm slightly uncomfy with my body, but thats not the main issue. There are two reasons I'd not want to do the nude beach thing...

1. The sand of course. getting it in your suit is bad enough, but getting it crammed in EVERY nook and cranny. No thanks. Sure there's huge beach towels, but you still have to move around and sand gets stirred up.

2. I am VERY lpale. I've been to the hospital before for sunburns, and that was with a bathing suit. I'd hate to get burnt ALL over. Sure I use strong sunblock, but it just doesn't seem to work.

I have no problem being naked though. I walk around my house naked all the time. thats the best part about living alone or with your significant other. Naked is comfy. Thats how we come into the world, darn it thats how we're supposed to be! However I don't want everyone seeing me all nakie, also no full body sun burn. :P

`Bringing back to life the old threads is never a bad thing. I think that people at nudist beaches don't see the naked body like most people. Every body is different and there are always imperfects. I think if I went to a nudist beach with the right person it wouldn't matter. I'm always up for trying new things although I know if there were more bbw I would feel a lot more at ease. Lol.

`ok I couldn't pass up an opp. to give my humble opinion*wink*.I agree with you mizcurious inthat reviving an old thread is perfectly exceptable mainly because some of the topics are quite interesting like this one for example.This nudist beach question does require a little bit of thought imo.I wouldn't want to attend a nudist beach whether it was I who was nude or all others that were nude and I wasn't.For one thing I believe it to be very self-deflating to look at anothers spouse(shall we say)in their all together out there way at that moment.For another I don't believe most of the people there are all that above board in their motive for being there.As someone mentioned before that they wouldn't mind being there if there were like nude guys playing volleyball.I know she meant it as a joke but let's say that there are guys there with the same mindset inthat they are just looking for bouncing b--bs and shaven or nonshaven private places.It would be so degrading to pull up your internet oneday and there you are in your all together nothing on the outside way because some prevert rented a room on a nudist beach protraying him or herself as being on the up and up about their nude beliefs.People do lie and preverts do exist and being in the nude out in the open doesn't give one many opp. for self protection.

`lol southernfinery does have a point some people would be there for the sights.
I can remember hanging out with some of my male friends and they would always have the attitude of omg yea we can see so many naked girls we need to visit one.
What I find interesting is that when you hear the people who always go to these events and they are fine with the nudity, if fact they don't think anything different about it, just being natural with each other.
