why do people use this forum to introduce themselves?

so why do people use this forum to introduce themselves, when there is in fact a specific forum called, introduce yourself!

of course my real question is why do 70+ people read my posts and not offer me any feedback???

.there is only one problem, when ever i look on craigslist it is usually a machine on the other line sending me a link for a ---- website lol, well anyway im a nice guy, i would really like to get to know you a little better, maybe we can egt to know each other first, then meet or something, so tell me a little about your self, how old are you, where u from, how come your single, what are you looking for, well anyway about me im 25 i live in Passaic county, its in NJ im sure you know where it is, im not ghetto, or thug lol, but im a nice guy, im pretty good in bed, i used to be a --- educator for parties and what not in northern nj for a adult store, it was fun but it gave me some really good tips and everything. so anyway if you would like to talk more, i know i seem kinda boring but don't judge a book but its cover lol, give me an email back and we can talk more...

Anyway, I was basically just saying that it shouldn't surprise you =P Think about it this way...this is a dating site, but naturally there are individuals on here who just want a quick fix and aren't really looking for anything more. You like it or you don't....and if you don't, just move on and let them do their thing! I mean, the title of this forum does have the word --- in it! One-track minds, that's all I have to say =P

As for why people don't reply? I won't lie, I'm a lurker too and it takes a while for me to be coaxed out of my forum-creeping shell, haha, don't take it personally! =)

1. Lets people know what they are all about. or They didnt notice the other one cause --- just stands out to them and they end up ignoring all other sub forums.
2. People wonder what other say or are saying. And Most topic makers dont even return with a reply. Kinda feels like talking to a ghost or a wall.
