introduce myself?

well introducing myself is not so easy . you see i am not really my favorite subject. i am jerry mertens from ramsey mn. i am a LARGE man (see pics) , i am an over the road trucker and i love what i do . it is my life and my living. a narrow ribbon of energy that is life . it drives me through crisis , from runaway rigs to runaway inflation . and it represents work, and lots of it. stability,integrity,and purpose. it was my first love from a time before i ever knew a woman or anything about --- or love.
for me a truck was the way out of a miserable home . and as soon as i got out i swore never to go back.(eventually i did reconcile the mom and dad relationship) my misstress through life has always been and always will be a truck. so you wonder why would i be putting this in an intro?simple really, the reason i am divorced is because for some reason girls think that once they have me they will change me to fit themselves, now i have said all that to say all this . I AM NOT SOME LIMP WRISTED SISSY THAT CAN BE HOG TIED INTO A DAY JOB WORKIN 9 TO 5!! TRUCKIN ALWAYS HAS AND ALWAYS WILL PAY THE BILLS FOR ME.
so you may wonder how can a trucker who works 70+ hours a week have a relationship that is fulfilling for a woman ? well i cant answer that with words its just something you have to experience for yourself... i like alot of audio books my fav is anything harry potter

Welcome Jerry. Thank you for introducing yourself, I appreciate your honesty and sincerity. I think alot of people try to change each other (both sexes) I myself have been guilty of trying to change someone,(when I was younger) and have been with someone wanting to change me. People just can't do it. If others can't accept people for who they are, then its time to move on.
I personally think that if you are in a relationship with someone who is away alot, it makes you want and miss the person even more, and I think time away from one another in a relationship is a good thing. I think for alot of people it would basically be a trust issue, but if the love is real, than of course you trust the person completely and shouldnt worry about the other person being unfaithful. You are a handome man, and seem nice, and REAL. Im sure any woman would be lucky to be a part of your life..
