The search and browsing deatures here are very limited, and that's a bit frustrating.

What good is searching by group if you have to browse through members from all over the world and hope to eventually find someone local? Why not allow searching by group AND by location?

Also, location search is very limited. I am only given the options to search for members in my city (and only in my city), other cities in my state, or this vast all state or rural category, which is cumbersome since I live in Northwest Florida. I live really close to the Alabama state line, and would like to also be able to get local Alabamians, too. If I could search by local city and include a distance range that will also get nearby rural and small town members, that would make this site a whole lot more useful!

`I find the searching on here sucks completely.
What happens to me is I fill out my prefereneces (female in search of male, age range, etc.)and everything is fine for the first page. At the bottom of the page, when I hit "next', all my preferences are gone. When I reset them and hit search, I am back to the first page....again.
I e-mailed the support team and they did say they fixed it but a few weeks later it was messed up again.

`I have had and still have many problems with this sites day to day operations. I have contacted the site managers and always get a reply but the problems still happen and at this point I am not sure if it is my computer(granted it is an old one!) or the site.
Are there other folks who have re-occuring problems with this site?

`They just vastly improved the search function a few days ago. I live in SE Alabama right above the FL panhandle and made an email suggestion to the site when I joined a couple of weeks ago. I see you can now search by distance from your zipcode. The distance choices are still limited, but it's a whole lot better than it was!!!!!!!!! :)
