does anyone else kind of get tired of this whole online dating thing?? I know recently I haven't really been logging on that much...kind of getting bored...is that a bad thing? lol

` I hadn't done much online dating before I joined this site, as I was kind of leery of it. It does seem kind of plastic and impersonal to try and get to know someone just by exchanging emails over the Internet. The other problem can be the distance factor, writing to someone hundreds or perhaps thousands of miles away, and wondering if you can actually meet that person face-to-face. It is exciting when you first join something like this, but when you realize you are but one of thousands of other people here, and it is easy to kind of get lost in the shuffle of it all. My opinion is to not get too worried about it, just be positive, be yourself, and with any luck someone will come along here that will be attracted to you, and appreciate you for you. I just wouldn't want to be here for the next 20 years and not have anyone interested in me--then I really would be worried!

`I was sick of online dating for a while and didn't sign up for a site in almost two years. If I wasn't meeting scum bags, I was meeting douche bags. I decided to give it just one more try and if this doesn't work, then I'll just stop with online dating and do it the old fashioned way.
