I have realized that BBW and non-bbw woman are all the same. Meaning they are superficial. They, all women, say I want someone that blah, blah, blah, blah. They don't try to get to know someone. I've been on here for a while, saying hi to some women and I get no respond; those that do respond later stop talking. Is there something wrong with me? I feel like treating all girls the same...just use them. This way I won't care if I hurt anyone cus I'm hurt already. I came out of a relationship broken hearted, later felt good, came on here and feel like s**t.

I've had negative experiences at this site where I will spend a considerable amount of time answering profiles & receive hardly any replies. Or, If I do receive a reply, the woman is so suspicious that she completely turns me off. Additionally, many of these profiles want every positive trait imaginable in a man but have nothing to bring to the table themselves. Being so selective is not practical. At the rate some of these women are going they will wind up elderly & all alone.

`Come on boys! Thicker skins are required to be on a dating site. Just because we're bigger women doesn't mean we don't also have our preferences in men. You won't ring every gal's fancy, just like I won't to every guy.

In my own guesstimation, I probably will get 1 response in every 10 or so messages I send.

The other thing is this site is fairly limited. We're a selective group of people and to be honest, there's just not a lot of action, here. You'll see tons of profiles where people haven't logged in for months. Personally, I just come here to chat, since there's so few men from my city on.

Don't give up, I would broaden your searches a little more though. Good luck!

`well, Handyandy, the same thing has happened to me. it is rude to not even get a "thanks but no thanks" when you put yourself out there.
As for the suspicious part, you know , the first guy I ever got a an e-mail from was from this site and romanced the heck out of me and I was honest, up front, and very flattered at all the stuff coming out of his mouth, till he hit me up for money. My balloon deflated quickly and I vowed to be more suspicious in the future but the fact it, that is hard to do.
if I expect a man to believe everything that I tell him, I must believe everything he tells me......to a point. and with my brain fully intact and active. Its the nature of the dating site.
I agree with sheevaa. We all need thicker skins to be on a place like this and how did you get so smart for such a young woman, Sheevaa?

I have had bad experiences on here too. I've met two people. Each time went out with had a good time (or so I thought) and haven't heard from either since. It sucks but all you can do is keep trying. You shouldn't have to change who you are, you should find someone who accepts you as you are. And if you go around breaking peoples hearts because yours was broken, are you really being true to yourself? You might go breaking the heart of the person that was perfect for you just because you've been hurt.

I can't respond to everyone who msgs me because of the restrictions imposed by the site. If they click on a button that only allows them to get msgs from the US, I can't respond to them. I would like to but am just not allowed. lol. I tried shorts msgs, emails and smooches. Hope they don't get pissed off at me.

Scary thought that people are making two profiles on this thing just to be mr smooth talker or whatever. Hope girls aren't led on or whatever.
