Being originally from Brooklyn, it's great to say that now I'm in paradise! Down here in the Caribbean you can enjoy year round sun, beach and pina coladas or Cuba libres if you prefer. Myself, I prefer the world's best beer -Presidente, in it's light version.
However, what I miss the most if chatting with people who can speak the language and who are overall smart. Don't get me wrong, Dominican men can be captivating. They're known for being great lovers (I can vouch for that!!!!), but many are shallow, and worse yet slow to pay or even share date expenses!!! Can you imagine that?
See, now I'm complaining too much! What I really would love is someone to at least chat with who has their own opinion of things, who doesn't feel threatened, who's sure of himself.
