I'm not super good at "describe yourself" essays, but here we go: I just graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Music Degree. I'm looking to take a year off and get a job and then go to grad school maybe in music therapy. I currently live with my mom, I have one brother who is married, and my father passed away in June of 2004, but my uncle has kindly stepped in as a father-figure. My family and friends are amongst the most important things to me. We are very close and I am very protective of them. I am very shy at first but once I open up, I am really easy-going and love to have fun. I play and listen to a lot of music. I enjoy reading and learning things in general. I'm not a very materialistic person. I also hate drama. I am the person that my friends go to when they need someone to talk to about anything. I try my best not to judge anyone for any reason. I've had my heart broken more than once before so I'm not about to let that happen again, but I'm trying to be optimistic; thus the attempt here. I don't play games (unless board or card, then I'm all game, pun intended) and I don't like to be played with. Feelings are fragile and it shouldn't be taken lightly when you're allowed insight into how someone feels; it's personal and shouldn't be taken advantage of, ever. I'm also honest and don't put up with dishonesty. It is pretty safe to say that my ideal match would be trustworthy and loyal. I also love to laugh so that quality is important. I love to go out and do just about anything, but I also love to just stay in, watch a movie and cuddle. I enjoy cuddling and small displays of affection, like kisses on the forehead. I'm sarcastic, so I look for someone who is also that way and/or can accept sarcasm. I want someone that I can have serious conversations with about life. Congrats for reading this far.
