I was thinking I should wait until I am closer to where I want to be in life before I started dating again. Then I thought it would be great to find a partner who would enjoy coming on the journey with me, so we can encourage and inspire each other along the way. Also I figured it wasn’t fair to deprive some lucky lady of me any longer than necessary.
I’m a pretty laid back guy with a goofy/sarcastic sense of humor. I’m considerate, loyal, a bit nerdy, and I know I don’t look like it but I’m a pretty picky eater. My main interests include self-improvement, alternative medicine, spirituality and real estate. I enjoy spending time with family, hanging out with friends, traveling (especially to the coast or Hawaii), reading, movies, hiking, working-out, and playing most sports. I recently started golfing, and I really enjoy it. I’ve been working hard at getting in shape, but I know I’ve got a ways to go. I’m more of a BBQ and bonfire kind of guy, but I do enjoy hitting the clubs every once in awhile. The only other thing I can think to say about myself is that I’m basically a romantic at heart. I don’t enjoy dating a bunch of women at the same or one night stands. Ultimately I’m a relationship guy and that’s what I’m looking for, but I’m also totally open to making new friends as I truly enjoy learning from and about new people.
I’m looking for someone intelligent, compassionate, considerate, and affectionate. Someone with a good sense of humor, and who enjoys a quiet night cuddled up on the couch with me as much as a night out on the town. Ok I’m going to get a little deeper now. I’m looking for someone who is willing to commit fully to a relationship, someone willing to let go of the hurts of the past and love like you did when love was new.
