It's been a long, long time since I've been a "Bar Star", although I don't mind going out to clubs on occasion for a few drinks, and some dancin'! My tastes have now evolved to coffee shops and pubs - a nice relaxing environment where one can hear and be heard! (I'm gettin' old, yanno! *G*)
I'm self employed, having owned a small business for 8 years now, and am lucky enough to have a profession that I sincerely LOVE! I'm not very materialistic, but have acquired all of the trappings that keep me comfortable and happy... Now, if only to find someone to share them with! *S*
Incredibly romantic, I love to surprise and be surprised; love notes in special places, phone calls just to say you're thinking about me, or a candlelit picnic on the living room floor. I think that romance should be from the heart - not necessarily the wallet - and that random acts of kindness along with imagination and creativity can go a long way in showing how much you care. It also keeps things interesting & exciting!
Communication is key for me in any relationship, I want my partner to be my best friend; Someone I can talk to about anything and everything, or say nothing at all and still have the best conversation with only a look....
