So is there hope of finding love on the Internet? I'm looking first of all for a friend to spend time with and see if that leads to more. I'm a writer and poet who helps her older sister care for our elderly father. I have a good sense of humor and often can make people laugh and smile when they are sad or down. A friend said I should do open mic at the improv some time. I told her I'd be a stand up comic but I'd rather sit down. I joined this site mainly to make friends in the DFW area of Texas or IM and pen pal friends elsewhere.
