Just a lil about me. Hello there, I'm Megan, but nothing makes my heart swell more than being called Sunshine.

I've earned the nickname, and try to uphold everything that comes with it. That means being the best person I can be, under any circumstance. It means knowing how to find happiness. It means loving sun dappled roads with the windows down and the radio up. It means laughing easily and making others laugh constantly.

I'm originally from a small town in South Carolina. That means I love southern beauties -- sweet tea, crickets, fireflies, oak trees, country music, hootie & the blowfish, long country roads, an unfiltered, untainted starkissed night sky, southern accents,cooking, and hospitality, and glorious afternoon thunderstorms.

I go to St. John's College in Santa Fe New Mexico. That means I've grown to love a landscape that isn't lush and green. The bare boned high desert has captured a little part of my heart. It also means that I'm getting out of my shell -- going across the country will do that to you. It will make you brave, even if you have to work a little harder for wisdom. I'm learning that I can find beauty, truth, laughter, and good people everywhere I go, which has done nothing but good for me.

I'm discovering that I'm -----. I am planning to increase involvement in local groups.

As to what I'm looking for...I try to keep an open mind. A bit of an intellectual, so we'd have things to talk about. Good sense of humor, so we have things to laugh about. Dare I say perhaps even a bit romantic? Of course, nothing is set in stone -- you never know who will knock you off your heels. I'm really not interested in short term relationships.
