I am the exact opposite of the average Joe. I LOVE big girls! And by saying "big" I really mean it. I am most attracted to very tall (5'11+) and very large (550 lbs is *not* too much) girls. I also dig *very wide* hips. I'm 6'1 myself and am not intimidated by bigger (tall and very curvy) girls at all, it's the opposite way, I don't know if you've ever met a guy who explicitly *likes* that but it seems like we are pretty rare 
And no, this is no joke. I am real! I have always liked bigger girls. I'm very clean, well groomed, non-smoker, no drugs, STD free... These are qualities that you should have, too.
