* Hello! My name is Sly.
* I'm not the garden variety negro. Meaning I speak proper English, I'm not loud or obnoxious (I let my accomplishments speak for me), I don't wear my pants off my a** or something 10 times my size, and a lot of other things which people don't normally classify with the common black male. I'm extremely intellectual, I love to cook, drink, read, write, study, listen to music, shop, and watch sports; not specifically in that order.
* If that last line has you rolling your eyes, don't worry, I also drive fast, refuse to take sh*t from anyone, and am generally an cynical/sarcastic, but you know...the fun kind that you'll like.
-I'm the southern gentleman type with the voice and all, so if you ever get the chance to hear me talk and I sound like I'm "country", don't mind it. I do speak proper English still!
-I'm the guy who is perfectly comfortable making the first move; whether it be a romantic kiss on the doorstep or throwing you up against a wall and making out with you HARD...in the rain.
-I'm self-sufficient/independent. Which means: own car, own place, really great job, seriously I love my f*#@ing job. I'd take it to Vegas and marry it! That damn good!
-I just became a first-time homeowner, so yay me!
-I'm a 2nd year grad student in geography on my way to getting my masters. I do geographical research which means I know how to read maps and can make some if I had to!
-As I said before I LOVE to read a LOT, mostly historical fiction, philosophy.
-I'm pretty mature for my age and am often labeled as "Wise beyond my years"
-If we hang out there will never be an "awkward silence" don't worry, if your nervous I will just tease you.
-I'm single, yet not looking for the trophy girlfriend. In fact not really looking for a girlfriend in general, but I sorta am. I believe that such things happen spontaneously, can't rush it, can't force. And besides, I'm much more interested in personality.
