I'm ready to find a partner who adores me. : ) I'm a natural care-taker. I love to laugh and joke. I tell stories and do silly dances and find it entertaining rather than embarassing. I'm smart - quite smart, actually, and I like it that way. I don't need company all the time - sometimes I need to be by myself to recharge.
I try to make people laugh when I'm nervous, which I usually am when I meet someone new. Usually people think I'm funny first, then notice that I'm nice and caring, etc.
I got married too young (for me). That ended with a divorce. Lesson learned. Let's just count that as a practice run...
I think there ought to be another category here. It should go something like "About You":You are fun and confident. You don't need me to tell you you're great - you already know that. You just like to hear it from time to time from the people you care about. You don't need to be taken care of or looked up to, you just want to be comfortable and companiable with someone you enjoy and who enjoys you. You're happy. You're not waiting for this or that to happen to get you to contentment, you know the only way to be content is to create that yourself. You like actually doing things: going to museums and festivals and out to dinner and the movies. You don't need money for enjoyment, you need enjoyment to make the money worth anything. You're optimistic and always seeking joy. You love to laugh and play. You aren't ashamed of love and romance. You don't play games. You're tired of the little white lies, the hints, the cloak and dagger shenanigans that 'the dating game' entails. You're honest by default. You love God and kids and hope to get married and have a family some day. You're ready to love someone else because you're already good at loving yourself. I'm looking for someone who is single and doesn't have children, who has a job
