Looking for Laughter and Love I don't remember how to do this, how to make small polite talk because I pulled myself out of the dating scene for 4 years. Give me a few days, this should be just like riding a bike.

I ask questions, lots of questions because I'm curious. I like to know what I don't know and to try to understand what I don't understand.

I believe that in life we all have choices and I'm striving to make the right ones. But if I don't make the right ones, I look for the lesson I can glean from my mistake. Life always presents us with lessons and I strive to learn from them. I'm continuously in awe of nature, always amazed by the streaks of color that go into making the perfect sunset seen through the spindly branches of trees. When I have a issue on my mind, I sit by the water, letting it cleanse away my anxiety until I can see a solution with clarity.

I workout, well mostly cardio, 3-4 times a week-- sometimes for only 20 minutes, other times up to an hour and a half. The exercise is a great stress reliever and I'm enjoying the way I feel.

I'm a practical optimist, a realistic dreamer, a cautious romantic. As you can see, I am simply complex.

I need someone who's my complement and I want someone who can be my best friend, my lover, my travel companion, my partner, and, possibly, my husband. He must have a sense of humor, a thirst for knowledge, and a taste of adventure. I am looking for a long-term relationship. I know they are possible. One of my friends even met her husband on here and I joined at her suggestion. In the meantime, I'm content to just get to know people until the one for me comes along.

I LOVE to laugh, to have fun, to travel, to engage in debate, to go to poetry clubs, dance clubs, and art museums. I also love movies, especially comedies, cartoons, romances, and any combination of those. I like to have fun. Period.

A passport and a willingness to travel to foreign places are must-haves.
