Trying to describe oneself is often a challenage, but here goes...20 things about me...
1. I'm American, but I've lived in Canada for 15 years.
2. I have 4 beautiful, amazing daughters.
3. I'm a grandma to a lively, adorable three yr. old grandson. He calls me "Nana."
4. I'm looking forward to becoming a grandma again in Nov.
5. I own & adore a cat.
6. I volunteer at Bluesfest and Ottawa Folk Fest.
7. I hate to cook, but love to eat. Wanna cook for me?
8. My favorite color is RED.
9. My favorite singer is NEIL DIAMOND.
10. I own the movie, JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL. Ever heard of it?
11. I'm an avid reader.
12. My favorite author is Jodi Picoult.
13. My favorite past time, aside from reading, is puzzles.
14. I'd go to the movies every night if I could.
15. I once took ballroom dance classes.
16. I don't drink. Can't hold my liquior.
17. I don't smoke.
18. I don't drive, even tho I don't drink.
19. I love my job. I work with teens.
20. I'm not perfect, but I'm OK with that.
Whew, that was challenaging. I have found that the older I get, the more comfortable I am in my own skin. I have baggage, physical and emotional, but everybody does. If you expect to find someone who doesn't then keep looking. My baggage has taught me to cope. My sorrows have helped me to see JOY. My mistakes have made me strong. I can handle anything.
