hey there! my name is courtney and i am a 40 year old separated female who recently moved to illinois. i lived here a long time ago, but recently moved back after my separation. i am starting my life over and am just looking for someone who i can be friends with and see if something comes from it. i am a very genuine person and would like the same in return. i love to laugh, spend time with friends and family (when there isn't a pandemic going on), and love going to concerts ( again...minus pandemic lol but i am a lover of all kinds of music). i am a movie buff, love to cuddle with the right person, animal lover who is borderline obsessed with owls, and i am a natural born caregiver...sometimes to a fault as i tend to put others needs before my own. if i care about you, i will give you my all. i could go on and on about being burned in the past but then again who hasn't been, and frankly i'm sure you aren't here to read about that. i could also say the typical "i'm an open book so ask me anything" but that line is used all the time..seriously though...feel free to ask away. i am sarcastic at times, shocker i know. i like to goof around but i also know when it's time to be serious. i am playful and quick witted, but i also have my "blonde"moments and tend to be clumsy. i can be girly but also one of the guys and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. i am flawed but my flaws also make me who i am. i'm always authentic and always me. what am i looking for in a partner?? someone that is honest, loyal, funny, caring, compassionate, witty, trustworthy, and honestly, someone that i can feel safe with. if i can lay my head on your chest and feel safe like nothing in the world can touch me, then we are golden.
