Whats up? I guess I can start with the basics. My name is John and I work in the IT industry. What I am is a heavy set guy - not as heavy as I used to be - I lost 50 lbs in the past year, not out of shame, but strictly to be healthier. I've always been pretty outgoing and not the shy type. I was the class clown growing up, and I really don't think that it has changed much since I actually did grow up. In describing myself, I guess the best way to sum it up would be funny, caring, VERY loyal - and a bit of a worrier about those people I do care about. Everyone tells me I am a character, whatever that means! I can be sarcastic at times too but that's just me - I pull no punches and I guess it can get me into trouble sometimes but I wear my heart on my sleeve, and say things how they are. I am a big cuddly bear at heart, though. I love being silly, and I love making people laugh, and I am known to do a practical joke on occasion (nothing hurtful, just playful). I am a pretty huge nerd, being in IT I am on a computer a lot, and that means I do game a bit, but I also like to go out on the town on occasion. I am also a bit of an anime geek, as a matter of fact the array of shows I do watch probably is a little surprising (to me at least, haha).

What I am looking for in a lady is simple, but is it ever really as simple as it sounds? Life is complicated, after all. Someone who is charming, lovely, and a riot. Someone with spunk, who can deal with my quirky sense of humor, and give it right back to me. I don't discriminate on any shapes or sizes, attraction cant be determined by such a simplistic method, everyone is different after all - I want to get to know her as a person. I am the kind of guy who wants something that can mesh into something long term (with any luck, eventually!), life is a long, winding road - and it would be nice to take that journey with someone else.
