Angel With Broken Wings: More than Meets the Eye Yeah... it's Friday night and I'm sitting here sipping a cup of chai and updating my profile. How sad... I have finally washed Kentucky out of my hair and am home again in Pennsylvania... one thing I've realized is that I need someone to keep me warm! I was born and raised here, yet coming back has about frozen me to death lol. I'm really kind of glad to be back now. I've missed it! I want to be totally honest and say that I am currently separated and will be filing for divorce shortly (just to make this clear-- there IS no psycho ex! He's 3000 miles away in Ireland, where he came from). I am a free spirit and I've gone through years of worry and loneliness. I want to get out and have fun again. But fair warning, I am a rarity. I'm honest, faithful to a fault, and I have honor and integrity. And pride.
I can find the fun in any situation. Sometimes that may be annoying, but that's me, the annoying optimist.
I love to be outside, and am looking forward to spring and summer when I can toss the shoes aside and walk barefoot through the grass again. I'm a country girl, it's in my soul. I don't have children, but I do have pets-- including a 140lb labrador.
I'm pretty independent, I can do a lot of things on my own-- a little plumbing, carpentry... can do minor repairs on a furnace and well pump. I carry my own groceries, put out my own trash. I made my share of faux pas that way while I was in the south. That being said, I'm ready to be treated like a lady. It's been a long time.
I'm not much of a partier, I was in my youth but seem to have outgrown it. I like going to local bars to see local bands, but that's about it for the bar scene with me.. Music is very important to me. I have a great sense of humor though it can be dark at times... and sarcasm is sometimes my second language. I don't go for drama-- I'm just too old for that kinda thing. And I don't like liars or cheats. I don't do that so would prefer if you don't. No games.
