Well, my tale is the same ol' "once bitten, twice shy" deal... except I was bitten more than once. I've been single a long time now and know that it's not a matter of "needing" a man in my life, but a desire for friendship and companionship.

I'm willing to go the distance and in it for the long haul... NOT looking for a fling or one night stand.

I'm a single parent with 2 children (both daughters, ages 13 and 7) My oldest is now a teenage drama Queen and my youngest has some special needs. So a strong sense of humor is a MUST! LOL

I think I did this bass-ackwards and was supposed to describe myself first... but better late than never, eh?

I'm a bit on the shy side, but once I get to know someone, I become quite the comedienne. I'm extremely loyal and sensitive... I don't mean touchy, I mean sensitive to others emotions and needs etc. I'm very down to earth and easy going. It usually takes a lot of effort to make me angry... but don't try it, in case I'm having an "off" day! LOL

Let's see, what else? Oh... I'm originally from the Bay Area of California, but I've lived in western Colorado for over 20 years.

For the past 2 years, I was "employed" taking care of my mother in her home, but she's now in a nursing home, getting physical therapy to prepare her for surgery. Once she returns home, I'll continue to take care of her as needed, until she fully recovers. After which, I'll have to get a "real" job. LOL
