Passionate but Picky I'm at a place in my life where I know what I want and I know who I am. There are both good and bad aspects of this. Of course, this doesn't mean I'm not open to new ideas or to change, it just means that I'm not going to embrace things just because I think it will please or impress someone else.
Food-wise, I'm not terribly picky, I love most all of it. Music-wise, I have pretty eclectic tastes but have been tending toward indie, folk(-rock) and Americana lately. Books-wise, I love sci-fi, fantasy, and YA but I will read anything if it's interesting. Movies-wise, I prefer comedies to dramas and action to thinkers though I do like foreign films as well. Politics-wise, I am progressive, rather subversive, and pretty avoidant really.
My ideal match would be someone with whom I can connect equally on intellectual, emotional, and physical levels. Someone who can make me laugh and make me think will quickly find his way to my heart. Major turn-offs are pushiness and rudeness (to anyone, not just to me).
