In general I am a very creative and caring person. Last year I finished my graduate degree and am now working in the mental health field helping kids with significant developmental disabilities. In my free time I love to bake, cook, sew, knit, draw, create, learn and attempt to garden.

I'm looking to expand my social sphere outside of the people I know through my hobbies and work. I've been spending a lot of time lately tending to aspects of my life that had gone to the wayside while I was in grad school. So far connecting to my spirituality, pursuing creative projects and getting involved with the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism)have risen to the top of my to-do list.

Beyond that, I am involved in a Celtic Reconstructionist group which has turned out to be pretty nifty. While I'm taking a break from formal education, I have been sating my thirst for knowledge by taking a 9 month herbalism course and learning how to shoot traditional archery.
