Feel free to prove me wrong... The name is Jessica Mahoney and I am a rare breed in my family. At 26, I am unmarried and do not children. Typically by my age, people in my family are married and/or have children. I believe I have been blessed by choice (and some luck) to have had the chance to grow and figure out what I want.

I currently work in news as a production assistant. It sounds glamorous but the pay is not greatest and its mostly a thankless job. However, it's the first job I had that I can tolerate having.

I have a tech degree (dimploma) in broadcasting (focused on T.V.) and currently in school for a communications degree.

Being a music lover, I love to listen to music, write lyrics, and love love love to sing. One of my favorite activities is actually singing karaoke. My favorite kind of music is mostly alternative and 80's music, but I will listen to any kind of music as long as a song appeals to me.

Beyond that I like to hang out with friends either at home or going out to eat. I also enjoy going on adventures, no matter how small aka driving around the outskirts of the city.

I am seeking someone who adventerous, honest,acknowledging, affectionate (but knows to back off I ask), and to prove me wrong about relationships. I don't like to be smothered, but I don't like to be ignored either. I don't want to be bossed around, but I don't want a door mat either. Cheating is no-no and will not be tolerated. Someone who wants to be with me should probably be patient and tolerant, because I can be a handful. I have been through a lot of b.s. in relationships since I started dating.

Passion is a great thing to have because without it, things can be boring. However, I do seek someone who knows when to be realistic when need be.

Overall, I want to proven wrong. I want someone who will blow my mind and not just be another a**hole.
