LOOKING FOR HER !! I am a 47 yr old, divorced father. I have one son who is 21 yrs old at UMaine where he plays hockey. I am a very positive person. To me the glass is ALWAYS half full. I have a good sense of humor to the point that most people say I am the life of any party. I have a good education that I worked hard for and that I am very proud of. I have a BS in Political Science from Wake Forest Univ., where I played football and I have an MA in American History from Boston College. I am a strong- willed leader and I am not afraid to share my views. However at the same time I am a good listener and feel that I can never know too much not to hear others thoughts. I am very tender hearted ( I have been known to cry at Hallmark Christmas commercials.) I am retired from my chosen career. I know that is strange for someone my age but I did it the hard way. I was a homicide detective in Montreal Quebec, Canada with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and I was shot in the line of duty. These days I keep busy with my passion : sailing !! I have a sailboat that I keep at Murrells Inlet SC and I also have a house at Myrtle Beach SC. I go there as often as time allows. I can think of no other place on earth I would rather be than on the open sea. I have sailed up and down the east coast of North America from Newfoundland to Key West. I have also sailed across the Atlantic to Ireland ( my fathers' birthplace, yes I am a proud Irishman ) and to the north as far as Iceland. My dream is to one day sail around Cape Horn on the tip of South America; alone. I have a little less exciting plan for the near future however. I am planning to open a tobacco shop. I am looking for locations at present and hope to open in 2009. As far as a lady goes I am looking for just that, a lady. I want A LADY THAT WANTS TO BE TREATED LIKE A LADY.
