Looking for my last first date I am definitely a wild science geek, but am slowly making some life changes. After moving to Spring Hill, Florida from Savannah, Georgia; and now to Port Richey, Florida; I finally found exactly where I belong in this world. I plan to stay here for the rest of my life. (In Florida that is, but I would be open to relocation for the right woman) This is going to be the adventure of a lifetime. At the moment, I still spend my free time pursuing Amateur Aerospace Engineering flying High Powered Sport Rockets both sanctioned and for experimental research. However, I have not been doing much flying lately. I look forward to going back to school and getting my PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Aerospace engineering, and someday perhaps going to work for NASA or Morton Thiokol. On January 3rd of 2009, I recommitted myself to getting sober and staying that way. I took myself off of pain management therapy, and all of the medication I was on for my near fatal motorcycle accident injuries. As well, I have not had a drink (of anything alcoholic that is)since August of 2008. Although it has been extremely difficult and trying, it is much nicer to be able to look at the world with a clear head. As of January 3, 2010, it has been one year without any mind altering substances. Those who know me sincerely would say that I am eccentric. I am an avid math and science lover. I love exploring physics and all forms of mathematics; as well as chemistry. At the current moment, I am working on construction of several hybrid and liquid fueled rocket engines of my own design. I hope to have a prototype ready for static fire testing sometime within the next year. Being a musician, I like all forms of music from classical to opera, heavy metal to jazz. (The only thing I don't like is rap, unless you are talking about 80's rap like Run DMC) I am brutally honest to a fault and very direct. Plenty of times my straight forward attitude has gotten me in trouble with friends
