First of all, I want to say that even though my photo is a so called "glamour shot" I had it done at KMart, so seriously, if KMart can make me look nice, then it stands to reason that I must "clean up" fairly easily, right? Haaaa! Personally I'm way more casual than that (though I can dress up too) & I never wear near that much makeup!
Also, I want to say that if you are looking for the anorexic or skinny type then keep movin'. I am a volumptuous woman, not gross by any means, quite attractive actually, just not skinny.
Well, that being said, my interests lie in many venues. I enjoy reading, watching movies...especially suspense & action movies. Not really into "chick flicks" too often.
I enjoy cooking though not in a "gourmet" sort of way. I am an old fashioned Midwest cook as I grew up in Nebraska & Iowa with two great cooks in my grandmothers. But I love to cook for people that truly enjoy eating. I love entertaining friends though it seems when you are a single woman, you just don't entertain like you used to when you were "attached" for some reason.
I collect cookbooks & hope to have one from every state eventually & I'd also like to write my own cookbook as well. Even if only to hand down to my boys which to me is most important.
I enjoy dancing & all kinds of music. I can find something in every genre that I can enjoy. But my favorites are blues, smooth jazz, & classic rock.
I like to paint watercolors & do pen & ink drawings as well. I have won several awards along the way which has been fun too.
I enjoy garage sales, the beach(I live fairly close to that),motorcycles, concerts, car shows, & a good storm.
I also like to just get in the truck & take a drive to no place in particular & see what kind of wildlife there is out there at any given moment.
And I love football, especially the Seahawks!
