I am the accidental owner of entirely too many cats, a lover of words and stories and dark beer and introspective conversation over dark beer. I was once a near-excellent pool player - a skill I quickly lost when I stopped playing regularly. I wear rings on the wrong fingers.

I am a beast master, but my freakish talent does not typically extend to children.

I am a rain god, ala Douglas Adams, and suffer from (and occasionally triumph over) an excruciatingly personal variety of parking lot voodoo.

I'm a constant reader and eternal student. I love stories and history and boy-holy stuff like military history and great fight scenes, as well as non-boy-holy stuff like puzzles - of the word, number, and jigsaw varieties.

I have loved exactly three video games: Donkey Kong - the original arcade version that you had to plug quarters into; Prince of Persia - on Super Nintendo, which I still own and occasionally play; and more recently, Rock Band, at which I kind of suck.

I'm not looking for marriage, necessarily, or babies at all, but I am looking for an actual, real, relationship-type thing.
